On New Year’s Day, I spent a glorious two hours walking along the waterfront trail at Seattle’s Washington Park Arboretum. It was a rare balmy winter day for Seattle: the sun was out and joggers passed in t-shirts. Walking side-by-side with the man I love, sun shining on my face and the sounds of birds in the air…was simply dreamy. I can’t imagine a finer way to start 2012.
